Every once in a while, a photoshoot turns into something truly magical. Recently, I had the absolute joy of recreating a portrait I first took ten years ago. On the left: a sweet 6-year-old full of giggles and curiosity. On the right: the same young lady, now 16, standing in the exact same spot, same pose, with a whole new story written on her face.
As a photographer and designer, these are the moments I live for—the chance to freeze time, revisit it years later, and see how life has blossomed. There’s something so heartwarming about capturing not just faces, but growth, resilience, and all the subtle changes that make each person uniquely themselves.
This “10-Year Challenge” isn’t just a fun internet trend—it’s a reminder that photos are more than snapshots. They’re bookmarks in the story of our lives. To see how much a child grows, how their personality shines through the years, and to witness them becoming who they’re meant to be—it’s an honor beyond words.
Looking back at that first photo, I remember adjusting her little bow, making her laugh so she’d hold still for just one click. Fast forward a decade, and here we are—same pose, same place, but now with a confident young woman ready to take on the world.
Moments like these remind me why I do what I do. Photography isn’t just about today—it’s about tomorrow, too. About giving families a way to look back, smile, and say: Remember when?
